Finding your Electronic Cash Payment Slip

You can use an Electronic Cash Payment slip at convenient stores to make secure, easy rent payments. 

1. You can find the electronic cash payment slip by navigating to the Payments tab, then clicking Download Payslip from the Electronic Cash Payments block. Alternatively, you may find your payslip as an attachment in your Shared Document tab.

Setting up Auto Payments

1. On the Home or Payments tab, click Set Up Autopay to create an automatically recurring payment
2. Select your payment method: eCheck (direct withdrawal from bank account) or Credit or Debit Card. eCheck payments are free to you, while Credit or Debit Card payments carry a non-refundable transaction fee that is added to your payment total.
3. If you are paying with eCheck, give the payment a name, select whether you want to pay a fixed amount or your outstanding balance, choose the payment start date, then enter your bank account information. If you are paying with Credit/Debit Card, enter your payment information, then click continue. On the next screen give the payment a name, select whether you want to pay a fixed amount or your outstanding balance, choose the payment start date.
4. Click Create Autopay. You will receive a confirmation email when your payment processes. You can review your autopay details on the Payments tab of your Online Portal.

AppFolio Invites are being sent out today

Keep an eye on your inboxes as you will see your AppFolio Resident Portal Invite arriving around 12 PM CST today, November 19th. Setting up your portal should only take a few moments, but if you run into snags, you can contact Client Services by emailing [email protected].

Your new resident portal is almost here!

Young America is rolling out a new resident portal for all current customers. Starting November 18th, 2020, all residents will be accessing their online portal using AppFolio.

Why the change?

We are always looking to improve upon the leasing experience our residents have with Young America. AppFolio adds many internal improvements for our company, as well as some vastly improved customer-facing features such as:

• No ACH fees
• Mobile apps that allow you to pay securely and quickly on the go
• Easier processes for payments, service requests, and communication with Young America

When is the last day I can make payments in the current portal?

Friday, November 6th is the final day that residents will be able to make payments using the current online residential portal. Please note that late fees will also post on this date. You can still drop off paper payments to the Young America Offices at 311 S. Main Street in Normal.

Where can I submit maintenance requests?

You can still submit requests in PropertyWare (current portal) until Wednesday, November 18th. An email notification will be sent soon to remind residents of the date and time when the old portal will no longer accept maintenance requests.

Can I still view my old ledger when I switch to AppFolio?

You can submit a request to Young America for a copy of your records by emailing [email protected]
