Chi Omega at Illinois State University has been hosting annual philanthropy event called March Madness for 44 years. This tradition took a new meaning back in 2002, when Chi Omega declared the Make-A-Wish Foundation as its national philanthropy. Since then, Chi Omega's around the world have been dedicated to helping grant wishes for children with critical illnesses. A wish granted allows a child to replace fear with confidence, sadness with joy, and anxiety with hope. Research shows wishes have effects on children’s overall well-being and health outcomes.
Chi Omega's 44th annual March Madness Greek Dance Competition will take place April 4, 2020 at Redbird Arena at 7PM. All proceeds from this event will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois. The event is attended by over 4,000 students, parents, local residents, and Wish families! In addition to the show, a raffle table will be available for the chance to win prizes such as a Weekend with a Tesla, and so much more!
