Remodeled Apartments

Top Things to Look for in a Remodel

It's important to understand that "remodel" is a loosely defined term, reflecting some type of improvement to an apartment.  For Young America, different properties have had different levels of remodel over the years.  Improving an apartment could be as simple as new flooring, paint, and furniture, though for many, this may not really be what you have in mind when you think "remodel".

For Young America, "remodel" generally means updated flooring, paint, furniture, as well as kitchens, bathrooms, laundry, or other items.  Our latest level of remodel include granite countertops in most locations, double vanities in bathrooms, laundry in the apartment, new furniture, new flooring, stainless appliances, new kitchen cabinets, a TV mounted to the wall, and central heat and air conditioning.  These can be more expensive apartments when they are completed, but from a supply and demand standpoint, there is incredible demand within the ISU community for newly remodeled apartments like these that have a feel similar to brand new luxury properties, but have a substantially lower price point.

You can get a great feel for our remodeled apartments by visiting our website at  Most apartment pages show photos, floorplans (many have 3D floorplans), and a description of the apartment. Yet nothing compares to actually standing in the apartment to get a clear  understanding of its size, layout, and amenities.  We have a full staff of 15 licensed leasing agents ready to take you on a showing for your next great apartment.  Stop by and see us!  Or call for an appointment: 309-454-2338
